Kapaun Air Station, Germany - Named after Chaplain Capt. Emil Kapaun for bravery during the Korean war. Hosts Kisling Noncommissioned Officer Academy (NCOA)
Lajes Field, Portugal - Portuguese built in 1934. Supported Berlin Airlift, Operation Vittles, Shield, and Hope refueling missions.
Landstuhl Air Base, Germany - Primary medical treatment center for U.S. casualties within Europe, Southwest Asia and Middle East, largest military hospital, serving 245,000+ military personnel and their families.
Lindsey Air Station, Germany - Named in honor of Capt Darrel R. Lindsey, prior USAFE HQ and European Air Transport Service hub
Madrid ATCLO, Spain - Ensure DoD aircraft movement in Spanish airspace, changes in Spanish regulations, solving conflicts between US pilots and Spanish air traffic control facilities
Moron Air Base, Spain - Utilized to train fighter pilots for the Spanish Army Air Force and also Cold war air base
Paris ATCLO, France - Representative of USAFE Directorate Airspace, Air Traffic Control management system, ensuring DoD aircraft movement in French airspace.
RAF Alconbury, UK - New dayroom has heritage items added to walls, cases. Prominently featured is an engine cowling from a B-17 bomber, nicknamed Barbara Jane that crashed in Yorkshire in 1945.
RAF Lakenheath, UK - Statue of Liberty Wing, only USAF wing with both a number, name. Activated at Chaumont-Semoutiers Air Base, France, in 1952, premier fighter wings in USAFE.
