Master Sergeant Jared D. Moran is the Career Assistance Advisor for the 86th Force Support Squadron, 86th Mission Support Group, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. In this capacity, Sergeant Moran is responsible for developing 8,000 Airmen annually through one-on-one counseling, NCO/SNCO Professional Development Seminars, Informed Decision briefs and day-to-day operations of the FTAC program. He acts as principal advisor to commanders and superintendents on retention issues and assists in the development of superior front-line supervisors. He encourages supervisory involvement in the education and instruction of Airmen regarding reenlisting and retraining opportunities and benefits/entitlements. He aids the FSS by assisting in dissemination of personnel programs and new guidance to the base populace. Sergeant Moran was born April 1, 1974, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and graduated from Jefferson High School in May 1992. He entered the Air Force in December 1996. Sergeant Moran has held a variety of positions during his career and has participated in several operations and exercises as well as deployments in direct support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH and IRAQI FREEDOM. Jared has been married to the former Sarah E. Keeffer for 16 years. They have 5 daughters, 15 year old Madison, 13 year old Emily, 10 year old Abigail, 8 year old Samantha and 6 year old Natalie.
