Retirement BIO 2011: Master Sergeant Scott Ashley is the NCOIC of Security Forces Training assigned to the 100th Security Forces Squadron, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. He is responsible for the training and education of all security force members assigned. He develops and implements pre-deployment training curriculums for personnel deploying in to the Southwest Asia Areas of Responsibility. MSgt Ashley was born in Springfield, Vermont and graduated from Nyssa High School, Oregon, in 1989. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1989. His background includes Security Specialist, Patrolman, Desk Sergeant, Custody Agent, International Military Police Officer, Ground Defense Instructor, Installation Antiterrorism Officer, NCOIC of Security Forces Resources, NCOIC Joint Security Forces Training, Flight Chief, and Superintendent of Installation Security. His assignments include bases in Philippines, California, Turkey, Netherlands, Germany, Greenland, United Kingdom, Honduras, and South Korea. He holds an associate’s degree with the Community College of the Air Force in Criminal Justice. He has been deployed to Zagreb, Croatia,(1995), to establish the NATO mission IFOR, & Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia (2006) in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. MSgt Ashley married Michelle in 2005 and has two children, Lauren, (3) and Robyn (1).
