We just updated our Online WAPS Calculator for members testing for SMSgt and CMSgt. Also, the date of rate (DOR) and service date fields have been upgrade so you can just put the date in there instead of calculating the number of years/partial years. It should be much more streamline and accurate. Good luck!
Lots of new USAFE Aircraft added to our site including: the MC-130 E/H Combat Talon, the HH-60G Pave Hawk, and the C-130 Hercules.
Searching for a particlar AFSC or Rank in our Enlisted Visual Biography database just got a lot easier. If you use the search box up at the top, then you can type in the AFSC or occupation title, or rank.
The social aspect of our site just got way better! We now have the option for you to be able to comment on pages throughout our site. You just need to submit your enlisted visual biography and then log in to comment on the page. We hope you enjoy this new feature!
The Fallen Airmen pages have been upgraded to have a lot more information, photos, and display some of the medals that the USAFE members, who gave the ultimate sacrifice, received.
We added the history behind the Order of the Sword to give you a better picture of where the tradition came from and how it evolved. Thanks to SrA Matthew Morgan for wielding the USAFE sword!
We just updated all the 2011 Winners for General John P. Jumper Award for Excellence in Warfighting Integration and the Air Force Information Dominance Annual Awards to reflect our new Air Force winners. Congratulations Communicators!

The USAFE Enlisted Heritage Council would like to wish everyone a happy holidays!

Lots of new uniforms added like US Army Air Force, Blue Shade 84 Service Dress, and the Retrofit Service Dress. Also lots of new decorations including Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal. If we have recipients of these medals in the database, then they will be displayed on the bottom. More to come...

The criteria, history, and recipients for the Joint Service Achievement Medal and Air Force Achievement Medal has been added. It will show you who has all received the medals that has submitted their story.
The RAF Lakenheath page was created tonight. It will be built up a lot more in the near future, but you can view all the award recipients and fallen airmen from there.

In attempt to make it easier to navigate the site, we added a full site search results page and also upgrade the instant search functionality.
We just added the Army Achievement and Commendation Medal options to the site. See what MSgt Gravenor's profile looks like. You can easily modify your existing profile after you login.
We now have the option of adding in your photo with your profile; you might have already noticed a few out there. Shoot us an email with the photo you want uploaded and we will put it on there for you! Here is Chief Williamson's example.

TSgt Ted Hofknecht - Combat Controller has received the Grateful Nation Award. The JINSA Grateful Nation Award was established in 2003 and only six Service members are recognized with that award annually for superior conduct in the War on Terrorism.
Two Portraits in Courage features were added today. SSgt Robert Gutierrez - Combat Controller and MSgt Neil Jones - Explosive Ordinance Disposal.
We added all the USAFE Outstanding Airmen of the Year Award winners from 2003 till now. This also includes those selected for the AF 12 OAY.
We added three new stories to our Enlisted Coalition Partnerships page. They highlight partnerships with Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia.
We have added a USAFE Order of the Sword Recipients page today recognizing those who made significant contributions to us enlisted. So far, we have had 19 recipients and the oldest dates back to 1972.
